Thursday, July 5th, 2007 - We had joy, we had fun

Sunny and hot - not very often that happens. Silas and Maggie went on an adventure, first a hike to LaManche Village, a small community no longer inhabited due to a combination of a vicious storm as well as forced resettlement in the 1960's. After a picnic near the now reconstructed swinging bridge they traveled down the road to LaManche Provincial Park for wading and rock throwing, then to s store for chips, a playground and home.
