Thursday, July 12th, 2007 - Inch by inch

The capelin that rolled in this week have come in very handy in Grandma and Granda's garden. Maggie collected a bucket full all on her own, then spread them over the potatoes in the garden - three capelin to each potato plant, as per Granda Tom's instructions. She looked especially fetching in her brand new garden gloves, a gift from Emily's Nan.




By the end of the day, Maggie had come down with whatever flattened Silas last week. Poor little scrap.



Then today we took out the kiddie pool - cures all ills. Maggie even perked up enough to put on her lipstick and head off to the ballfield for the kids' fun day. Pucker up!
